Job Summary
Ensure facility cleanliness to the utmost standard before, during, and after all events by performing light and heavy cleaning tasks, including bathrooms, locker rooms, sweeping, mopping, and garbage disposal. Restock restroom supplies and operate equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors while maintaining a positive demeanor to acknowledge guests. Arrive for scheduled shifts on time in uniform, work safely and efficiently to meet deadlines, and follow all verbal and written instructions regarding Safety Data Sheets and personal protective equipment. This part-time role at PeoplesBank Arena offers an hourly rate of $16.94-$17.61 with union benefits, and remains open until August 28, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work morning, afternoon, and/or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and read written instructions, especially cleaning products and Safety Data Sheets.
Desired Qualifications
- Cleaning or event-related experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of how to use cleaning equipment.
- Ability to operate scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, etc.
- Basic understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Basic understanding of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
