Job Summary
Custodian (Part-Time) at Children’s Fairyland responsible for routine cleaning, sanitizing restrooms and common areas, maintaining park grounds, and supporting facility upkeep. Duties include cleaning offices and park spaces, emptying trash, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, washing windows, and assisting with minor maintenance tasks. Requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong customer-facing skills with park guests. Must be able to work outdoors, adhere to safety procedures, and pass a background check; weekend availability and COVID-19 vaccination proof are required. The role is part-time, scheduled Friday–Sunday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, up to 30 hours per week, with a starting pay of $22.46 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience
- Knowledge of cleaning practices and safety procedures
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and operate cleaning equipment
- Experience with cleaning and sanitizing high-touch surfaces and restrooms
- Ability to pass a background check with no barriers to working with children
- Completed or willingness to complete Bloodborne Pathogen training
