Job Summary
Maintain clean stores, buildings, and facilities by sanitizing restrooms, dusting furniture, emptying trash, and managing recycling. Clean and buff hard surface floors, shampoo carpets, and apply floor sealers using assigned power equipment and hand tools. Assist with facility setup for meetings and classrooms, remove snow or debris from sidewalks within sixteen feet of the building, and follow safe chemical handling procedures. Report hazards, complete annual safety training, and perform other duties as assigned. Work part-time in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and exposure to dust.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Lifting and carrying 30 – 40 pounds
- Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers)
- Standing for long periods of time
- frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing
- climbing ladders
- Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain)
- Gear includes safety harness and protective clothing
- Organizing, sorting, categorizing, counting, adding, subtracting
