Job Summary
Conduct general cleaning activities, including floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Remove trash and debris, and perform set ups and break downs of scheduled events as per work orders. Operate standard cleaning equipment and manage special project setups, such as moving furniture. Report supply orders and minor repair needs to the Custodial Supervisor while adhering to all health and safety guidelines. Work part-time Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, with up to 24 hours per week. Prior custodial experience and the ability to lift 40 pounds are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, equipment, and materials of custodial functions
- Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Professional and compassionate demeanor
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 365 days within which to establish a primary residence in NJ
