Job Summary
Vacuum using a 25 lb. device daily for 3-4 hours, wet mop, sweep, dust, and empty trash while lifting wastepaper and debris up to 55 lbs. Clean and disinfect drinking fountains, restrooms, floors, and all fixtures including urinals, toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and counters. Fill dispensers and stock restroom supplies, wash windows and sills, and operate vacuums and other related equipment. Perform heavy physical work involving lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling in indoor or outdoor environments with exposure to chemicals, dust, and fumes. Work standing and walking for prolonged periods, including stairs, with occasional overtime and weekend availability. Must complete jobs without constant supervision and pass a background check.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must pass a background check
- Valid Drivers' License Class C
- Effective interpersonal/communication skills
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications
- Ability to understand verbal instructions
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
- Effective grooming skills
- Ability to operate electronic devices for clocking in/out procedures
- Ability to operate vacuums and other related equipment
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to lift, push/pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 55 pounds
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as necessary to meet events and facility schedules
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs frequently, as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift
- Subject to the DLP Staffing, Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing
