Job Summary
Custodian responsible for general custodial and light groundskeeping of school buildings and facilities. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing walls/woodwork/fixtures, emptying trash, replenishing dispensers, and requisitioning cleaning supplies. Performs floor care (stripping, scrubbing, waxing, spray buffing), moves furniture as needed, cleans restrooms, replaces light bulbs, and maintains cleanliness of sidewalks and grounds. Requires ability to operate cleaning equipment and perform medium physical work; HS diploma/GED preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Some experience in custodial work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to perform duties
