Job Summary
Night Supervisor Custodian at Bay Middle School responsible for general cleaning and maintenance of school facilities during the night shift (2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.). Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, and offices; floor care (sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing); window and glass cleaning; graffiti removal; lighting maintenance; furniture setup for meetings; snow removal and applying ice-melt; grounds maintenance; receiving deliveries and supplying classrooms; trash/recycling duties; and assisting with events and during vacations. Equipment used includes brooms, mops, floor cleaning and waxing machines, vacuums, snow blowers, shovels, power mowers. Requires safety compliance, chemical hygiene, and occasional travel between schools.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable
- Ability to follow written work orders and communicate effectively
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- State Motor Vehicle Operator's license or ability to provide own transportation
