Job Summary
Night shift custodian responsible for care, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of the school plant and grounds for students and staff. Requires knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements related to custodial work, familiarity with custodial procedures and equipment, and ability to communicate orally and in writing. Must be able to read and follow instructions, work harmoniously with custodial staff, organize and establish priorities, and perform minor repairs to equipment, building and grounds. Must be able to stand for long periods. Pay grade 5; days worked vary (250 days/year or 11/12 months depending on schedule).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Custodial experience preferred
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening
