Custodian- Night

Night custodian responsible for cleaning and maintaining district facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. Duties include following a cleaning schedule (floors, windows, restrooms, furniture), maintaining grounds and exterior areas, waste disposal, inventory of supplies, and assisting with lunchroom setup. Performs preventive maintenance, minor building repairs, and reports major repairs to the principal. Regulates heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for comfort and energy efficiency. Assists with setting up facilities for special events and opens/closes the building each school day, ensuring doors and panic hardware are secure. Complies with safety procedures, inspects equipment for safety, and adheres to district safety protocols and emergency procedures. Physical demands include heavy lifting (45+ pounds), frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, and exposure to extreme temperatures and chemicals.
