Custodian (Night) (3:00pm - 11:30pm) (West High School)

Custodian (Night) at West High School in the Fort Zumwalt School District. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and attractive school environment: cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and entryways; operating and maintaining custodial closets; regulating temperature/air conditioning for appropriate conditions; shifting furniture, changing light bulbs, and performing body-fluid cleanup as needed. Outside duties include grounds care, snow/ice removal, and window washing. Additional duties include assisting in the cafeteria, participating in training, ensuring security after events, and supporting setup/cleanup for district activities. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, work in extreme heat or cold, and communicate effectively with staff and the community. Work schedule is 8.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, for a 12-month at-will appointment with salary paid in 24 installments.
