Job Summary
Custodian-Multi Purpose shift at BYU–Hawaii/Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, vacuuming, and trash removal across assigned areas such as Pacific Pavilion, front entrance, IMAX, Concessions, and Alii Luau. 4-hour day shift starting around 12 PM (19 hours/week). Entry-level position with an approximate starting hourly rate of $14.00-$16.00; requires ability to lift up to 75 lbs, English literacy, and adherence to university Honor Code. On-site interview required; students preferred; I-9 verification required for employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Should have a grammar school education.
- No prior work experience necessary.
- Must attach resume and current schedule (weekly view).
- Must exemplify the University Honor Code, including dress and grooming principles and expectations.
