Job Summary
Conduct janitorial duties throughout the automotive facility in Concord, NC, including sweeping work areas, picking up and disposing of trash, and distinguishing between scrap and stored materials. Perform heavy lifting and emptying of trashes while working in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment. Operate a forkluck, move and stack pallets, remove cardboard, and clean floors as assigned. This physically demanding role requires frequent lifting over 50 lbs, adherence to safety procedures regarding hazardous chemicals, and reliable transportation. Schedule runs from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with specific shifts for July through August and ongoing hours thereafter, including occasional overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
