Job Summary
Conduct general cleaning across restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and exterior yard areas, including emptying trash and managing guard shack and smoke areas. Perform physically demanding tasks involving miles of daily walking, heavy lifting, and removing/bailing cardboard while moving and stacking pallets. Operate a forklift and adhere to basic safety procedures regarding hazardous chemicals and frequent lifting over 50 lbs. Requires reliable transportation and ability to follow safety precautions due to physical risks. Compensation is $17/hour for a full-time role in Auburn Hills, MI. Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
