Custodian - Maintenance OC

Maintain safe, clean, and neat grounds by emptying trash, collecting recyclables, and sweeping, mopping, and buffing classrooms, hallways, stairwells, offices, and bathrooms daily. Vacuum, clean glass, dust, and sanitize counters, sinks, and drinking fountains; fill and refill paper and soap dispensers. Inspect floors regularly for shampooing, stripping, and waxing as directed. Keep walks clear of snow and debris using appropriate equipment, lock and unlock doors as designated, and report needed repairs to the supervisor. Assist other custodians when needed, check for additional assigned tasks, and work a flexible schedule. Some overtime may be required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is preferred.
