Job Summary

Maintain campus facility cleanliness through dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms across classrooms, offices, and common areas. Manage custodial supply inventory by monitoring stock levels and restocking materials to ensure operational availability. Handle recycling collection by picking up, sorting, and disposing of recyclables in alignment with sustainability practices. Direct work and receive assistance from student help, temporary workers, and work study personnel while following safety protocols and operating cleaning equipment. Perform duties Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 2:00am at the Truax Branch Campus.

Required Qualifications

  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and products
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to custodial tasks
  • Ability to effectively operate and learn to use hand tools, small power tools, and custodial equipment
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently while prioritizing tasks
  • Ability to follow safety protocols, handle cleaning materials properly and maintain a sanitary environment
  • Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment
  • Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term
  • Must be available for Monday through Friday 6:00pm – 2:00am
  • Must be available for all hours worked on Sundays
  • Must be available for a 40-hours a week, 52-weeks a year schedule
  • Must be available for 2nd Shift
  • Must be able to lift and handle cleaning materials and waste receptacles
  • Must be able to operate and learn to use hand tools, small power tools, and custodial equipment
