Job Summary
Conduct general care and upkeep of assigned areas, buildings, grounds, and equipment at Leonard Lawrence Elementary School. Perform fundamental cleaning skills, lift items, and handle setup and teardown for activity events. Assist with maintenance support as needed and follow directions from the custodial leader and building administrator. Mow, trim hedges, and remove snow, which may require working flexible hours in inclement weather. Work Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Candidates must enjoy working around children and be able to work well with others as a team.
Required Qualifications
- not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations
- capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned
- must be able to lift 50 lbs
- must be able to physically handle setup and teardown of activity events
- must be able to mow, trim hedges, and remove snow
- must be able to work flexible hours in inclement weather
- must be able to work Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
- must be able to work well with others as a team
- must enjoy working around children
