Job Summary
Lead custodial teams to ensure compliance with departmental policies, safety practices, and Blu-gold standards while delivering best-in-class cleaning services across campus. Train staff on cleaning functions, standard operating procedures, and safety expectations through toolbox talks, and manage team equipment and supplies to meet production standards. Document individual performance, evaluate quality accomplishments, and collaborate with supervisors to refine operating procedures and solve identified issues. Maintain organized supply areas, document inventory, and report repairs, violations, and pest control needs. Monitor facility entrances, secure walkways, and respond to emergency or hazardous situations by escalating incidents per established policies. Schedule staff, fill vacant roles, and clean areas as needed to meet operational demands, including seasonal variations and flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous Custodial experience
- Strong understanding of customer service
- Ability to communicate at all levels verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated experience with problem solving, process improvement and collaborative teamwork
- Previous supervision experience including delegation, communication/engagement, team building, and training
