Job Summary
Maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and the public by cleaning classrooms, offices, restrooms, and multipurpose rooms while removing graffiti and inspecting sites for vandalism or weather-related damage. Arrange furnishings and equipment for meetings, classroom activities, and special events; distribute supplies and perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging drains. Operate industrial cleaning equipment and common tools while adhering to safety practices, and respond immediately to safety concerns including facility damage, injuries, or alarms. Secure grounds by locking doors and turning off lights to minimize liability. Work under limited supervision following standardized practices, with a preference for a high school diploma or GED and experience in industrial maintenance.
