Custodian (JJA)

Maintain district facilities by cleaning floors, whiteboards, windows, furniture, and restrooms while keeping sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat. Perform minor building repairs, assist with lunchroom setup, and move furniture or equipment as directed. Open and close the building daily, checking exit doors and panic bolts, and inspect machines for safety and efficiency. Comply with local laws for trash disposal, manage cleaning supply inventory, and correct unsafe conditions promptly. Operate tools including buffers, strippers, vacuums, and pressure washers while lifting heavy items. Work inside and outside in varying temperatures, requiring frequent standing, walking, and climbing. Report major repair needs to the Lead Custodian and follow all safety protocols.
