Job Summary
Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum building floors; gather and empty trash; service, clean, and supply restrooms; dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Perform light maintenance, daily equipment upkeep, and safety inspections. Move product to facilitate production processes and keep production areas clean and neat. Communicate with other departments to assist with production needs. Maintain facility cleanliness and perform basic routine upkeep on equipment. Lift up to 30 pounds frequently while wearing required safety gear including eye glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Work independently with minimal supervision in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Must be comfortable working around chemicals and other cleaning products
- Must have basic maintenance skills
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Must be self-motivated, able to complete a task to the best of her ability under little or no supervision
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
- Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
- Machinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats
