Job Summary
Custodian II responsible for cleaning classrooms, restrooms, offices, and dining areas; operates commercial custodial equipment (scrubber, buffer, commercial vacuum, ladder, etc.); performs floor care (mops, strips, buffs, waxes), empties trash, cleans windows, changes light bulbs, moves furniture, and removes graffiti; handles setup/breakdown for events; maintains custodial inventory and orders supplies; participates in district emergency or general assignments as needed; 225-day grade 13 position with pay steps up to Step 8; requirements include high school diploma or GED and English proficiency; physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally, climbing a 30-foot ladder, and eight hours of standing/kneeling/bending daily.
