Job Summary
Custodian II (3rd shift) at Bexley City Schools. Full-time position (10:00pm–6:30am) on Sunday–Thursday at the Cassingham Complex. Reports to Supervisor of Custodial. Salary starts at $24.35/hour (no experience) to $27.37/hour (with verifiable experience) plus $0.50/hour shift differential after 9:00pm. Responsibilities include routine custodial duties: sweeping, dusting, mopping floors, waxing, vacuuming carpets, cleaning furniture and equipment, windows, walls, desks, classrooms, hallways, stairwells, restrooms; snow removal; operating custodial equipment; following safety procedures and SDS guidelines; maintaining cleanliness and safety of facilities; assisting with setup for activities; communicating effectively; and performing related duties as required. Requirements emphasize physical stamina, ability to work with others, attention to safety, and ability to read instructions and follow directions.
