Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and overall appearance of company buildings and surrounding work areas by performing daily custodial cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, entryways, and common areas. Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and vacuum floors; clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures; empty trash and recycling containers; and restock paper products and sanitation supplies. Dust furniture, vents, ledges, equipment, and other surfaces; clean interior and exterior windows, doors, and glass surfaces; and maintain cleanliness of stairwells, storage rooms, and warehouse/work areas. Operate custodial equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers; perform routine deep-cleaning projects; assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or company activities; and monitor facility cleanliness to report maintenance, repair, or safety concerns. Safely handle, store, and maintain cleaning chemicals and equipment while following all OSHA, company safety, and sanitation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or facility cleaning experience
- Knowledge of custodial cleaning methods and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety procedures and cleaning instructions
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or facility cleaning experience preferred
- Knowledge of custodial cleaning methods and equipment preferred
