Custodian I School-Based

Custodian I School-Based with Dare County Schools performs cleaning and maintenance of school facilities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuums, floor finishing, restroom sanitization, window and surface cleaning, trash removal, groundskeeping, inventory management, and routine minor repairs. Duties include opening/locking facilities, desk and furniture arrangement for events, exterior grounds work, weather-related upkeep, and responding to after-hours emergencies. Requires ability to lift and maneuver objects, work in varied indoor/outdoor environments, and use cleaning equipment and tools with attention to safety and efficiency. Must have high school graduation or equivalent and a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
