Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning restroom areas, and maintaining grounds. Responsible for requisitioning cleaning supplies and minor maintenance tasks. Must be able to physically operate janitorial equipment and exert up to 50 pounds of force. Required knowledge of cleaning procedures and the ability to follow instructions and maintain effective working relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Some experience in custodial work or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Carolina
Additional Requirements
- Category 'A' employees are governed by Guilford County Schools Policy GA and Administrative Procedure GA-P regarding drug testing
