Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness of City Facilities including restrooms, kitchens, floors, walls, windows, and patio areas using strippers, sealers, buffers, pressure washers, and various cleaning machines. Collect trash from receptacles, receive and complete work orders, and maintain communication with supervisors. Maintain and replace worn parts in equipment such as vacuum cleaners and buffers, check inventory, and replace supplies in necessary locations. Drive to pick up supplies when required. Must possess a valid Texas Driver's license, hold all necessary licenses and certifications, and work the assigned schedule while complying with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Two years' experience in janitorial services
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's license
- Must have excellent attendance record
- Ability to exercise good judgement
- Organizational skills
- Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements
- Must be able to work the assigned schedule
- Must comply with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in stripping and waxing tiles floors with the use of floor buffers, burnishers, and various carpet cleaning machines
