Job Summary
Provide custodial cleaning and minor facilities maintenance in assigned building(s); perform minor grounds maintenance including clearing snow from walkways and steps leading to assigned building(s); assist in the set-up of rooms and other facilities for school and community events.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months of experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
- Special Class C Boilers License in the State of Minnesota for School Custodian II
- Second Class C Boilers License in the State of Minnesota for School Custodian III
- Knowledge of cleaning standards
- Knowledge of cleaning methods
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- Time management knowledge
- Skilled in the use and care of floor cleaning equipment
- Skilled in task prioritization
- No certification/licensing required for Custodian I
