Job Summary
Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the facility, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, ensure exterior sidewalks and parking lots are debris-free, and respond promptly to spills to prevent safety hazards. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and buffers according to manufacturer instructions, reporting malfunctions to management. Follow all health and safety guidelines using proper products and equipment. Report issues like leaks or broken fixtures to the appropriate department and participate in safety training sessions. Work closely with store staff and management to coordinate schedules and communicate facility concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Flexible availability
- Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred
