Job Summary
Custodian role at a High School focused on maintaining clean, safe facilities and grounds for students. Responsible for keeping buildings, sidewalks, and play areas neat; operating HVAC controls to maintain appropriate temperatures; shoveling, sanding, and maintaining walkways; performing daily checks on exits and security; cleaning surfaces, restrooms, and implementing routine maintenance; moving furniture as needed; opening/closing the building and staying on-site during occupied hours; and participating in ongoing maintenance and inservice activities as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Dakota drivers license
- Experience in cleaning and minor repairs to buildings and grounds preferred
- Must maintain up to date training and certification
