Job Summary
Custodian responsible for cleaning and maintaining City buildings and public restrooms. Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, carpet cleaning, cleaning furniture and hard surfaces, waxing and buffing floors, emptying trash and recycling, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining supplies inventory. Operates cleaning equipment (including floor buffers) and follows oral/written instructions; ability to stand, stoop, and bend. Also assists with snow removal as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Any combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to perform duties
