Job Summary
Custodian responsible for cleaning and maintenance of the facility, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restrooms sanitation, trash removal, equipment setup, and assisting with events and front-desk coverage. Identifies leaks or damages for NYCHA repairs and coordinates with NYCHA staff. Performs building security tasks (locking/unlocking, monitoring entrances) and supports election staff during openings/closings. Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience; occasional bilingual capability in Cantonese or Spanish is a plus. Schedule is 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with compensation of $19.50 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, vacation, sick, personal days, and holidays. Location: New York, NY.
