Job Summary
Conduct night shift janitorial duties in the shopping center, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing interior and exterior common areas. Remove trash, replace liners, and ensure waste disposal while keeping supplies stocked. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, walk paths, open areas, and furniture. Adhere to safety procedures and report building issues like burnt-out light bulbs to management. Perform assigned tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions. Shift runs from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM with an hourly rate of $19.00.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Good public relations and communication skills
- Applicants must be capable of performing basic manual labor, including: Cleaning common areas pressing, pushing, and pulling, frequently lifting and carrying a minimum of 25lbs (up to 50lbs). Reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, walking, crawling, squatting, climbing, and stretching. Navigating stairs and using a ladder, as well as standing for the duration of their shifts
- Must pass HBM prescreen check
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Schedule: Graveyard Shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM)
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred
- Previous janitorial, custodian or related experience is preferred
