Job Summary
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash bins in residential units and common areas for turnover. Inspect and maintain lawns, pick up trash, pull weeds, and perform light repairs such as freeing windows, painting, and replacing light bulbs. Assist with move-in and move-out inspections and ensure storage areas and entrances are locked with adequate lighting. Operate within OSHA standards regarding water, gas, and sewer cut-offs while maintaining professional interactions with residents and contractors. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for emergency or scheduled shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to pitch in and work in areas as required
- Must be personable and trustworthy
- Must be able to work well with residents and co-workers
- Must perform work in a safety conscious manner
- Requires the ability to read, speak and comprehend work instructions and safety notices in the English language
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays if required for emergency, on-call or scheduled shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Custodial work experience preferred, but not required
- High School Diploma preferred
