Job Summary
Conduct on-site custodial work including trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, wet mopping, and disinfectant cleaning of restrooms. Assist with periodical tasks such as floor stripping, sealing, carpet cleaning, and window washing. Operate light and heavy custodial equipment while adhering to all safety procedures and policies. Maintain a positive professional image for employees and customers, including understanding the needs of disabled and disadvantaged individuals. Lift up to 50 lbs with assistance over that limit, using a lifting belt correctly, and work on feet for long periods while navigating stairs. Attend all required agency meetings and training sessions. Pass pre-screenings including background and drug screenings. Report to work in inclement weather and possess reliable transportation to reach job sites.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) lbs.
- Ability to lift and move up and down stairs.
- Capable of working on feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to pass pre-screenings such as background or drug screenings.
- Position is considered essential personnel and will be required to report to work in inclement weather.
- Must have reliable transportation, and ability to get to job site and to other sites as needed.
