Job Summary
Overnight Custodian role at YMCA of Greater Brandywine (Coatesville location). The Facility Associate provides custodial services to ensure the building meets cleanliness and safety standards, including cleaning, sanitizing, mopping, trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and grounds keeping. Responsibilities include assisting with room setup and breakdown, snow removal as needed, reporting health and safety issues, maintaining custodial supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety and organizational SOPs. Requires high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of custodial/maintenance experience, basic custodial equipment knowledge, valid driver’s license, English fluency, and willingness to obtain new hire certifications within 90 days. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in maintenance or custodial field
- Ability to relate well with staff and public
- Obtain and/or maintain a valid driver’s license
- Be willing to alter work schedule to deal with job demands and manage competing priorities
- Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English
