Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and neatness of buildings, walkways, parking lots, and play areas by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing bathrooms daily. Regulate heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while ensuring economical fuel and water usage. Perform winter maintenance by shoveling, plowing, and salting sidewalks and driveways. Conduct daily safety checks of exit doors and panic bolts, raise and lower the flag, and inspect electrical installations. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, report property damage, and move furniture as directed. Handle general maintenance, minor repairs, and waste disposal in compliance with local laws. Remain on property during authorized hours, opening and closing the building, securing doors, and turning off lights. Coordinate with volunteers for grounds beautification and perform assigned yard-keeping chores.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age, unless a minor is approved by school administration and eligible for a work permit.
- Solid record of punctuality.
