Custodian Full-time (Evening Schedule) 11 Month

Custodian responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, storage areas, and lounges; vacuuming and mopping floors, collecting trash, cleaning furniture and fixtures, and restocking supplies. Duties may include assisting in the cafeteria or opening the building, disarming alarms, and setting up for events; may perform minor maintenance or repairs and transport equipment. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; follow work orders and establish effective working relationships. Requires knowledge of cleaning principles, operation of cleaning machinery, safety practices, and physical ability to perform duties (lifting up to 50 pounds) with an evening, full-time 11-month schedule. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and six months cleaning or minor maintenance experience; bilingual preferred; valid Arizona DPS fingerprint clearance card.
