Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness at the CDC Clifton location by dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing furniture and fixtures. Perform manual labor including cleaning walls, doors, windows, and surfaces above floor level, as well as policing common areas and the building exterior. Requires moderate physical strength, ability to stand for long periods, and adherence to oral and written instructions. Work Monday through Friday from 1:30pm to 10:00pm. This role supports the national public health institute's operations through essential janitorial services provided by Goodwill of North Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- General knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment
- The ability to stand for long periods of time
- The ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength
- The ability to follow oral and written instructions
- The ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with your supervisor and other co-workers
- Ability to comply with Federal vaccine mandate per contract site with or without a reasonable accommodation
