Job Summary
Sweep, damp mop, and vacuum hard surface floors, carpeted areas, entryways, stairways, and kitchen/break room floors. Disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and partitions; empty waste receptacles and replace liners. Dust furniture, windowsills, ledges, frames, and moldings without moving personal items. Polish glass surfaces, entrance doors, and directory signage. Maintain cleanliness of drinking fountains, coffee service areas, and janitorial closets. Empty trash, refill soap and paper products, and organize supplies. Check locks and secure the building before leaving. Shift runs Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a pay rate of $13.00 per hour. Background check required; must be authorized to work in the U.S.

- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Adhere to dress code, appearance is neat and clean
- Report to work on time and as scheduled
- Wear identification while on duty
- Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times
- Comply with all organizational policies and standards regarding ethical business practices
- Communicate the mission, ethics and goals of the organization
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
- Attend regular staff meetings and trainings
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 lbs (trash bags, supplies, equipment)
- Ability to push and pull cleaning carts and equipment
- Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Ability to work in various environments (indoors, stairwells, restrooms, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
