Job Summary
2nd Shift Custodian for a district-wide facility. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining spaces per supervisor instructions, performing minor maintenance (replacing light bulbs/ballasts, turning off valves on sinks/toilets/urinals, replacing air filters), assisting with set-up/tear-down of events, coordinating with custodial teams, ensuring outside groups have what they need, grounds keeping and snow removal, and periodic summer deep-cleaning. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; ability to lift 50 pounds; 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, 8 hours per day, 261 days/year; full-time with benefits; pre-employment medical examination and background checks required; possible on-call duties in summer. Prior custodial experience preferred.
