Job Summary
Custodian responsibilities include cleaning and sanitation of Trinity Metro facilities, operating floor scrubbers and custodial equipment, waste disposal, inventory management of supplies, organizing custodial closet, coordinating cleaning around meetings, reporting maintenance issues, communicating shift duties, and driving to all facilities in a company vehicle. Schedule is Saturday through Tuesday, 3pm to 2am at Central Station.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least one year of experience cleaning a commercial facility
- Must be skilled in the operation and maintenance of custodial equipment (high-speed burnishers/buffers, extractors for carpet and upholstery, vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers)
- Must have knowledge and experience in cleaning and maintenance of terrazzo and marble floors, wood furniture, and finishes (chrome, bronze, brass)
- A valid Texas driver’s license (class C) is required
- Education: Any combination of experience, training, and/or education may substitute for the required education
- Bilingual is a plus
