Job Summary
Custodian responsible for general cleaning and maintenance of the facility, performing minor repairs to fixtures and equipment, following safety procedures for students and staff, collecting and disposing of refuse, dusting and cleaning furniture, vacuuming and floor care, cleaning windows and surfaces, moving furniture as needed, maintaining inventory, attending trainings, and supporting community use of the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to relate well to children, other staff members, and the public
- Knowledge of the materials, methods, equipment and practices used in cleaning and minor repair operations
