Job Summary
Maintain a clean and neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, nurses' stations, hallways, and lobby spaces. Participate in all cleaning activities such as dusting, buffing, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, extracting, and vacuuming floors. Properly remove trash, recycling, and regulated medical waste, ensuring all receptacles are maintained and disposed of appropriately. Relocate office and general hospital furniture as necessary. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with every other weekend and holidays off.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED Equivalent
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- ability to communicate effectively with others
- ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- ability to work the hours specified
