Job Summary
Custodian Floater responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of common areas within the building; sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping down, and sanitizing surfaces; cleaning restrooms and storage areas; removing trash and replacing liners; restocking supplies; working in various weather conditions; and performing other tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor. The role requires strong communication and a customer-service oriented attitude, with training provided. The position is in Maui and supports in-person operations with a full-time schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (30-40 hours weekly).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must pass HBM prescreen check
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle is preferred
- Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, or related fields preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Strong public relations and communication skills
- Capable of performing basic manual labor, cleaning common areas, frequently lifting, pushing, pressing, pulling, and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs. (up to 40 lbs.), reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking up and down stairways, using elevators, climbing ladders, and standing throughout shifts
