Job Summary
Part-time evening custodian for Madawaska Elementary School, performing general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, and other areas to district standards; operating floor cleaning and waxing equipment; handling deliveries and supplies; assisting during events; grounds-keeping tasks; and occasional travel between schools. Shift runs from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm; training available to become a bus driver. Requires ability to follow work orders, work with staff, and meet safety and chemical hygiene requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or completion of sufficient education to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Maine Background Check required
- Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
