Job Summary
Custodian position for day-time shift (6:30am-3pm) responsible for cleaning and maintenance of school buildings and grounds under supervision of Principal and Facilities/Business Manager. Performs cleaning of rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, windows and floors using mops, buffers, waxers, and related equipment; handles deliveries, replenishes supplies, and assists with events. Performs grounds-keeping, snow removal, and safety checks; adheres to safety rules and chemical hygiene (MSDS). Requires ability to read/write English, follow work orders, and collaborate with staff; occasional travel between schools.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or completion of sufficient education to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable.
