Job Summary
Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, and drive floor scrubbers to maintain facility cleanliness. Wash and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, stock disposables, and gather soiled uniforms for laundry. Use scissor lifts to clean ceiling ducting, maneuver up to 50 pounds, and work with hazardous materials while wearing required PPE. Perform occasional seasonal yard maintenance and snow shoveling. Follow written and oral instructions, communicate defective equipment to the supervisor, and comply with all safety requirements. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm with overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and speak English
- Punctual and reliable
- Must complete pre-employment physical/drug screen
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach, carry, bend/stoop, push/pull
- Must be able to wear a respirator and other required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to comply with all safety requirements; participate in safety training/practices
- Must be able to maintain a clean work area and follow company hygiene guidelines
- Must be able to use small hand tools
- Must be able to communicate to supervisor when detecting defective equipment
- Must be able to read numbers and letters
- Must be able to work with and around hazardous materials
- Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience is not required but a plus
