Job Summary
Conduct janitorial duties and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas by performing cleaning tasks, operating motorized equipment, and managing hazardous waste including collection, sorting, and recycling. Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisors while complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stop at-risk behavior and fill in during staff shortages to support shift leads in completing punch-list items. Use proper personal protective equipment and communicate professionally with team members, leads, supervisors, managers, and customers. Work Monday through Sunday in day or night shifts, lifting up to 35 pounds and following all protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 months training or experience
- Bilingual
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
