Job Summary
Perform custodial duties to maintain University buildings and facilities, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and managing trash removal. Operate cleaning equipment and assist with special events setup and cleanup, while ensuring adherence to safety and maintenance standards. A high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with preferred work experience, is required. Candidates should possess the ability to lift 50 pounds and demonstrate attention to detail and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year work-related experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years custodial work experience.
- Cleaning experience in commercial or industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance methods, procedures, and techniques.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
- Knowledge of care and ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment/tools in area of operation.
Additional Requirements
