Job Summary
Maintain district facilities by cleaning floors, whiteboards, windows, furniture, and restrooms while keeping sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat. Perform preventive maintenance for minor building repairs, assist with lunchroom set-up, and move furniture as directed. Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and vacuums, manage cleaning supply inventory, and ensure exit doors and panic bolts function correctly during daily occupancy. Lift heavy objects over 45 pounds and work inside and outside in varying temperatures. Follow all safety protocols for lifting, climbing, and handling toxic chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
- Ability to lift 45 pounds and over on a daily basis
- Must be present regularly in person
